Noka Releases A New Phone With A Taste Of Vertu
Many of you are probably already familiar with the Nokia N97 phone. It was released last year and is a smart-phone with a QWERTY keyboard. The phone had some pretty hot features for that time, such as long battery life, an optional DVB-H Mobile TV receiver, Skype, compatibility with N-Gage games, Ovi Maps, Quick Office, and Adobe Reader.
Then, near the end of 2009, a downsized version was released called the N97 Mini. Due to the downsizing, the phone lost some storage memory, had a smaller screen, lacked an FM transmitter, and had a shorter battery life. However, it had a bigger internal memory and its keyboard was improved. With the release of such phones as the latest iphone and the Google Android, this phone was mostly forgotten.
However, recently Nokia released yet another version: the N97 Mini Gold Edition. This phone is basically an N97 Mini, with a touch of Vertu. That’s right, this phone is a luxury smart-phone. With the exception of a layer of 18k gold, this phone does not differ in any other way from the N97 Mini. Sounds like yet another phone built for people who have a lot of spare money that they are in a rush to get rid of. The phone is available now for 850 USD.
