Not many people know that every mobile phone has got some pretty interesting ’secret’ codes which, when typed in, show some very useful information. VERTU replica phones are no exclusion. The ones produced by Lux-Replica-Phones and VertuClone.eu have Nokia ‘insides’, making them compatible with most of the standard-issued Nokia star-hash codes.

Why are they called ’star-hash’ codes? Because they all start with a star (*) followed by a hash (#).

Star-hash codes are keyed in the same way you would key in a regular number (dial a number). Here are a few codes that will work with your VERTU replica phone, try them out:

*#06#

– displays the IMEI number. For more information about IMEI’s read VERTU Replica and IMEI Problems. Make sure you write this number down somewhere, so that your VERTU replica it gets stolen you can report it to the operator, resulting in the blockage of service for the phone.

*#0000#

– displays the firmware version, date of release and install batch. This is useful information when servicing the replica phone at your dealer, or changing the firmware yourself, like I did here: Flashing the VERTU replica.

*#2820#

– displays the bluetooth address currently assigned to your phone. This is useful for some software that uses bluetooth.

*#7780#

– RESTORES FACTORY SETTINGS, so make sure you actually want to do that

*#7370#

– FORMATS YOUR VERTU, restoring the factory s, so make sure you actually want to do that
