My VERTU Ferrari NERO [Photo Review]

December4

VERTU_Ascent_Ti_Ferrari_NERO_9As promised earlier, I am going to do a review of the VERTU Ascent Ti Ferrari Nero phone that I gave to my ex when I got back from China. This is overall a great phone with a great combination of useful functions and hot looks. One of my favorite features of this phone is its black, shiny body. I remember when I first got it a while back, I spent like 30 minutes just looking at it and holding it. I would be on my laptop doing this, and I would constantly pause and look at the phone. It definitely got a lot of attention from me! I also really dig the silver Ferrari horse logo on it, it looks especially sharp against the black background. The red earpiece really goes well together with the phone’s black body. Overall, it has a really hot look. I definitely prefer the looks of this phone over my VERTU Ascent Ti Ferrari III and the VERTU Signature S. The functionality is pretty much the same as with the Ferrari III, has all the cool features like a 2.0 MP camera and radio, among other things. However, this particular model also happens to have dual SIM capability, which is really sweet! The best way I can describe it is basically having two phones in one. I don’t think there’s any better way to describe it.

You have the contacts from both SIM cards, you can make calls from either SIM card, and you can receive calls to either SIM card. This is some convenient stuff! Like the my Ferrari III, the VERTU Ferrari Nero has a bunch of languages on it, though I don’t really care for those as long as the phone has English, hehe. It has WAP/GPRS, but I haven’t really had a chance to play with that, it has currency converter and world clock, also things that I don’t require for everyday use.

Overall I really like this phone. It has good looks (better then the Ferrari III’s) and it has the functions (better then both the Ferrari-III’s and especially the Signature S’s). It would’ve been cool if the phone had red buttons instead of silver, but that is just my personal taste. The phone is smooth, feels rugged and soft, has a satisfying heavy feel to it, and has beautiful leather back. The camera is pretty good for a mobile phone camera, but that doesn’t really matter to me as I have an 8.3 megapixel digital camera. The absence of iPhone-type functions doesn’t effect me either, as I also own an ipod video.

So in other words, the features this phone lacks are not at all a problem to me. Besides, this is a luxury phone. It is made to show off, not to be on par with your laptop in terms of functionality. If I wanted something to play games on all day or browse the web freely, I’d have gotten an iPhone (although I’d prefer to use my laptop ;) ) Besides, the iPhone looks nothing as hot as this phone; its just a big square object with a screen :) . Oh, and by the way, in case I forgot to mention-the Ferrari Nero comes with a bigger and better looking key for opening the lock, and comes with an actual leather case instead of a velvet pouch. I was quite surprised, but I found out lux-replica-phones.com is packaging these items with all their phones now!

This phone was definitely not a disappointment, it was exactly what I had expected, and what the world should come to expect from lux-replica-phones.com, they are just great! The only things I can complain about is the back cover, I honestly don’t enjoy opening and closing it, and I also don’t like the way the middle joystick button feels. But these are very minor things and I can definitely live with them!
