My VERTU Signature S Replica [Photo Review]

June2

Vertu-Signature-S-replica-00As promised, I’m doing a review of my VERTU Signature S Replica from Lux-Replica-Phones. I ordered it last Wednesday, managing to get a very good discount of 50 USD for all my input into the VERTU replica scene. This is my second phone, the fist one being the Ascent Ti Ferrari III (click the link for the photo review).

The phone arrived yesterday. Carefully packed, no customs problems. Delivered to my office. Couldn’t wait to unpack the whole thing right away, so some of the original stickers are missing, since the photos were made later that day, in the evening.

As my first order, the VERTU Signature S came in a matte black box with two separate leather boxes inside. There are stickers, which cover up the “VERTU” engraving on both boxes, on all the accessories and the phone itself (even inside, under the battery).

The standard pack of accessories includes two BL-5CV VERTU Batteries, a 120-240V VERTU wall-charger, a VERTU manual (in several languages), a VERTU USB Cable and a VERTU Headset.

The phone itself is embraced in the soft internal cushion inside the separate leather box.

The phone is heavy (I’ll have to check the exact weight out when I get the chance, but I believe Lux-Replica-Phones’ specifications which state that the phone weighs in at an astounding 166 grams. The body is made of solid steel, screws are all screwed in tightly; no jottling sound from the steel keys either.

The SIM card slot pops up on top (the VERTU Signature S clone automatically turns off if you pop the SIM card slot out; in order to protect the data on it, I guess). The slot is made of steel and has got the “V” engraving on it.

Inside – the Signature and a whole bunch of numbers including serial numbers, model numbers and the “MADE IN U.K” inscription proudly engraved at the bottom of the metal plating. The lid of the Signature S copy has interior metal plates with the orginal texture and the “V” shining.

The VERTU Signature S replica screensaver is very neat and accurate. I’ve heard of complaints about some 2006 Signature replica models that had the font go off screen, etc.

I had a question from a certain Dare_Devil by e-mail, who asked me whether I knew what a VERTU Replica displayed when you pressed *#0000# or not. Here’s the picture of what the VERTU Signature S Replica shows when *#0000# is entered.

I will not go into all the features of the Signature S phone, as they’re the most standard features a phone would be expected to have. There’s a great Video Player, several original VERTU Games, VERTU Services (including VERTU Select and Concierge).

Looks great! I’m impressed.

Smoooth!

Being the owner of both the VERTU Ascent Ti Ferrari and the Signature S replicas I have to say that both phones are amazing, but the racer in me is staying true to the Ferrari replica rather than the Signature S replica. The VERTU Signature S is a phone that looks elegant, perfect, with a design that is revolutionary. The VERTU Ascent Ti Ferrari III is jam-packed with features and is rough, rugged. The Signature S phone is much more conservative, with a standard set of features for a business man, elegant, solid and very durable. The VERTU Signature S has got more fine style, while the Ferrari Ascent Ti III replica reflects its style in its aggressiveness. Both phones are really amazing and I’m really happy to be the owner of both of them. Which one is better? Can’t say, they’re very different. But being different, they have one thing in common – they’re both VERTU phones.

A piece of perfection and art in my hands..

    Dearest Timothy:

I personally would like to thank you for educating us about this product, doing the research so efficiently, and taking the time to post your blogs with beautiful photos of the product and for just assuring us overall that those of us of whom are considering making a purchase of the replica from lux-replica-phones.com that we pretty much have nothing to worry about in regard to the way they do business and/or the quality of their product.

Do you think is it possible to flash the phone and add some 3G ability into it ? My signature S is coming on tomorrow from Lux. Any opinion will be fine :)

Thanks for your blog. I had a question as far as durability and quality of the material since you had the two phones now for a while. Are they still functional, did you have any issues with them and have you noticed any wear marks on the phones by now (scratches on the screen etc..).

The phones look really good, but I am concerned more with long-time usage. Thanks

  11. On September 24th, 2010 at 1:09 am timmy9ine Says:

That is because of the software that is already used on the phone.

Regarding the Nero, I had given it to my ex-girlfriend, so I don’t know its fate. Regarding the Signature S, its pretty scratched up now and I don’t really get to use it as much as I used to, mainly because most of my attention is taken by my iphone. I had an incident about half a year ago where 2 of the screws came loose, but that has been fixed already. Overall, though, the Signature S was, and still is, quite sturdy and even survived a few drops. If it wasn’t for my iphone, I’d still be carrying it around with me every day.

So if I rewrite the software inside, I should be able to use the 3G ? My main concern is the hardware problem. I don’t want to disassemble it and find out by myself, thought you know it :)

I wouldn’t recommend it. Also, attempting to mess around with the phone’s insides will void the warranty.

Hello timmy, i would like your personal opinion.

Which signature S looks better and more eye catchy? The silver or the gold? THe gold would look odd, for i only know that on the vertu website, only the silver is the common one. Yes?

    Please let me know. Thanks.

    Hello

I am contemplating on getting a vertu SIgnature S from Lux. THe thing is which would you recommend looks nicer? The gold or the silver? Personally i feel the silver looks more original and classier than the gold. The gold looks over blinged.

  17. On November 18th, 2010 at 8:43 pm timmy9ine Says:

Yes, as far as I know, the original is only available in silver.

  18. On November 18th, 2010 at 8:44 pm timmy9ine Says:

I, too, prefer the silver version and think it looks better than the gold version.
